Six-Session Pottery Course on the Wheel (20+ hours)
- Week 1: Introduction to clay and wheel-throwing basics
- Week 2: Trimming and carving your first pieces
- Week 3: Decorating and glazing
- Week 4, 5 & 6: Flexible open session for supported throwing, trimming, plus 1 hr for glazing.
Across the first three guided sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel-throwing: preparing clay, throwing basic forms, trimming, carving, and glazing. You’ll create a set of your own pieces to keep and gain the confidence to continue working independently in a studio setting.
During the open sessions, you’ll have the space to work at your own pace and make a second set of pieces. All materials—clay, glazes, and firings—are included.
Cost: €260 (all materials included)
Breakfast set (hand-building session)

This one-day intensive workshop introduces you to two hand-building techniques as you create a mug and a bowl. Please note that this workshop does not use the pottery wheel. Because clay needs time to dry, your pieces won’t be finished on the day, but you’ll choose your preferred glaze, and we’ll complete the glazing and firing for you. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup within two to three weeks.
If you book for three people or more (up to 30), you can arrange a custom timeslot and group discount with the ClayStation team.
Cost: 75€
Wheel Taster Session

This one-day intensive workshop introduces you to wheel throwing and includes trimming a pre-made piece. Because clay needs time to dry, your work cannot be completed on the same day. You will, however, be able to choose your preferred glaze, and we will finish and fire your pieces for you. Your completed ceramics will be ready for pickup within two to three weeks, and you can expect to take home 2–3 items.
If you are booking for a group of three or more (up to 8), you can arrange a custom timeslot and group discount with the ClayStation team.
Cost: 75€
Please check the open classes page to book, or get in touch if those dates don’t suit.
